Dog Portraits (and tortoises!) at the Bank – San Diego Pet Photographer

At the end of June I took part in Citibank’s Pet Appreciation Day at their Clairemont branch.  I set up the studio right in the lobby, and took photos for the customers who brought their pets in.  The staff at the bank were all very friendly and fun to hang out with, and the customers really enjoyed unexpected treat.

We started the day with two Beagles and three tortoises that all belong to the same family.

And, believe it or not,  here they are with the tortoises.

The next bunch was three Scottish Terriers.

Of course Mom and Dad wanted a portrait of the three of them together.

A  smiling Chihuahua.

A Pomeranian.

Best friends. I’m partial to labs, being the owner of a beautiful black one.

Kids and dogs- does it get any better?

A Shiba Inu.  A beautiful, quiet dog.

I just love photographing all the pets and meeting all their people!  As they were leaving, the people with the beagles and tortoises said they were on their way to see a beagle puppy… I got a call a few days later to do a session for my Helen Woodward Animal Center Project.  The next post will have those portraits!
